Reporting - Concepts
Monitor budget - deadlines - risks - quality!
In companies, changes and issues are increasingly managed via projects. These are often complex and run over a long period of time.
I'm sure I'm not telling you anything new when I say that projects cost money and tie up resources.
But budget consumption and the use of resources can be controlled. In the agile environment as well as in classic waterfall projects.
The control of a project is a management task and essentially determines its success. It is not only the know-how.
Effective control requires meaningful evaluations that are generated as automatically as possible and provide the basis for options for action and decisions. It is the quality of the reports, not the quantity of the evaluations and reports, that is important.
Meaningful and addressee-oriented controlling reports that not only provide simple figures & data, but also steering impulses. It is important to me that your managers can use the evaluations and key figures. This means helping to develop them, understand them and use them as a management tool.
This gives you, as a company or project manager, the freedom to focus on the goal and success of your projects.
In short, I support you in tailoring the evaluations to your projects or your company, thus providing you with the foundations for successful company/project management.
For me, controlling is not just compiling figures in an attractive layout. Controlling is corporate and project management .
How often have I heard that controlling is a dry field.
My approach is to make controlling come alive as a navigation device on the journey to the destination.
